Properties: The
new Femibion® 1 formula has the same indications but more benefits for you and your baby. Femibion® 1 -Planning and Pregnancy supports you and your baby from the planning period until the 12th week of pregnancy (trimester 1). Ensuring a sufficient intake of folate is essential throughout pregnancy, especially during the first trimester.
A low level of folate in the mother is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the fetus.
Femibion® Folates 1 - Planning and Pregnancy are Folic Acid and Metapholine®. Metafolin® is a form of folate that can be used directly by the body that it does not need to convert.
Femibion® 1 - Planning and Pregnancy contains vitamin D to support the proper intake of this nutrient during pregnancy. Vitamin D contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and participates in the process of normal cell division. In addition to folate and vitamin D, Femibion® 1 - Planning and Pregnancy contains: other 9 vitamins (vitamin B complex, vitamins C and E), iodine, selenium, choline and iron.
Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells, hemoglobin and reduces fatigue and exhaustion. Choline contributes to the normal metabolism of
homocysteine. Supplemental folic acid increases the mother's folate level. Low folate levels in the mother are a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing fetus. Therefore, it is recommended to administer an additional 400 μg folic acid daily, at least one month before and up to 3 months after conception.
There are several risk factors for the development of neural tube defects and, therefore, the modification of one of the factors can produce beneficial effects.
Because folate also contributes to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy, e.g. formation of the placenta, it is recommended to ensure an adequate intake of folate throughout pregnancy. The placenta provides the baby with all the nutrients he needs.

Indications:

Method of administration:
