The MA-1 is a water-resistant, versatile and durable mid-weight nylon jacket that will serve the wearer well for many years. It was made for US Air Force pilots and crews but with its stylish appearance and knitted collar, cuffs and waistband it is now popular amongst civilians too. Its storm flap and tough front zipper are ideal for winter conditions. They include the ability to reverse the jacket so that its bright orange lining is outside, making it ideal for low-visibility conditions such as search and rescue missions.
