The Raspberry Pi Foundation has enabled Bluetooth 5.2 support for the Pico W, a tiny board based around the RP2040 microcontroller. The Foundation has bundled into the latest MicroPython build, with Bluetooth support now merged upstream into the official MicroPython repo.
